Hagen Smith, USA's shining new star is the "New Face of Beach Volleyball". Smith is a 2024 Global King & Queen of the Beach® and Queen & King of the Court® Brand Ambassador for Miramar®, the Original Volleyball Brand since 1984.
Hailing from UCLA, AVP, King & Queen of the Beach® and Queen & King of the Court® star Hagen Smith has come off an impressive 2023 with partner Logan Webber with victories in Virginia Beach and Denver and a strong third place finish at The 2023 Manhattan Beach Open.
In 2024, Smith is off a big victory with partner Logan Webber at the world's largest beach volleyball tournament at Seaside, Oregon August 10. Smith has been playing consistently and placing well with his strong play as defender in 2024. Smith & Webber won the 2024 BPT Futures Event in Battipaglia, Italy, defeating Corso/Viscovich (ITA) on May 26. Smith & Webber, were also recently a top American finishing pair in the May 2024 Hamburg, Queen & King of the Court® Germany Event. Smith recently placed second at Lillisand, Norway in the Lillesand Queen & King of the Court Showcase Event with partner Troy Field.

Hagen Smith, son of Volleyball Legend Sinjin Smith, has been playing volleyball since he came out of the womb. Growing up, he played indoor for his school and club teams, then would hit the beach circuit in the summers. He played high school ball for Loyola High School and then onto UCLA, where he was part of a 6-2 offense with Micah Ma’a that had not been implemented since his dad’s time at UCLA. Hagen graduated in 2017 from UCLA and moved to play beach full time. Hagen has been playing on the AVP since 2017 and has just had his best season in 2022, with a top finish of 3rd in AVP Chicago.
Outside of Volleyball, Hagen enjoys surfing, dirt biking, hitting the gym, and pretty much anything he can compete in. One thing fans might not know about Hagen is that he was bitten by a shark when he was 15.
